Introduction to Class Blog: We’ll be using this site for teacher-to-student communication as well as student-to-student communication. My goal is to do at least one blog post per week. Generally I will post on Monday and you have until Friday to complete the weekly blog by leaving a comment.
Ground Rules: Before we get started we’ll have to set some ground rules. First of all, all postings to this site must use school appropriate language. When you post, write in complete sentences. Key your first and last name at the end of your post so I know who posted it (all posts are worth points). When commenting on another student’s post, keep your comments non-personal. You can agree or disagree with a comment but refrain from sarcasm and/or put-downs. State your position on the issue at hand and why you feel that way.
Your first post assignment: In a Word document respond to the following. When you are finished, spell check and proofread - be sure to key your first/last name at the end.

3. This says many things to me. For example: if you want to become a vet, you can’t take a History class in college, and expect to become a successful vet. You have to take what classes are needed. It also says that in the end, every little thing counts. Every door you slammed, every essay you wrote, every text you sent, everything. So, you might as well be careful about your choices and make the right ones now, rather than try to fix the wrong ones you made in the past later. I can put this into action by being careful about my answers, and paying attentions to things that I do.

1. In 7th and 8th grade i used to use my blog spot almost every day. I loved to blog and I loved to have a way to write how my day went and what happened and my friends and family could all openly read what went on. Now i mainly use twitter and occasionally Facebook.

3. This quote to me means, that today’s decisions affect tomorrow. If you decide that you are going to punch a kid in the face during a class then tomorrow you need to be able to deal with the consequences that come along with it. I am a strong believer that no matter how dirty or how bad your past is, your future is clean and the way that you live your life is going to affect your future. If you are a hard working loyal friend then your future could be very rewarding. But if you are lazy and a liar your future is how you many the present

In this class I would like to learn how to use the microphone and new programs such as Photoshop.
3. “The future depends on what we do in the present”.-Gandhi What does this mean?
This means if we don’t change pollution, littering or any laws that have been lenient that they will get worse and soon and turn into a big problem in the future. But it can also connect to life such as if you don’t do good in school now it will affect your life forever.

3.) Gandhi was a believer in non violence and world peace. When he said this, he wanted to make a note for the future generations to come. He wanted us to know that there can never be peace if we ruin the present. He wanted us all to live in harmony and not in combat. Gandhi wanted us to try harder when it was our turn to walk the Earth.

• To me, this quote means do all that you can now and it will pay off in the end. For example, at the end of high school I want to go to a good college, athletically and academically.
