Writing Reflection:
Just as you can be a different person to different people (sibling,
child, cousin, student, friend, etc), you can be deliberate about
developing different areas of your web presence. Even at your
age, it is important to begin thinking about creating a more formal or
“professional” web presence.
Think about the specific "footprints" or information you leave
behind on the sites you access. Some site you might just read or visit often, other sites you might have an account and post information. If the web was the only information someone had about you, what
would they think about you? What assumptions would they make about your
habits & behaviors? Leave your answer in the comments - be sure to
add your first and last name.

I think they would think I was a happy person because of some of the things that I post. They would think I was obsessed with Facebook, as well. From everything I look up on google, they would think I'm crazy and very outgoing and loud. I also think that they would think I like to be on social networking sites and that I am on them often.

DeleteIf someone online had my information they would see im a 14 year old teen that I play video games I race bmx and that i like to hang with friends. They could see all of my tweets from twitter and my relationship status and also my statuses of where i am and what im doing. if im with someone or alone. people cann get alot of information about me just from my facebook and twitter.

If the web was the only information someone had about me, they wouldn't think anything bad. They may make assumptions about my habits & behaviors like i get on facebook... a lot and use youtube a lot for music. They shouldn't think anything bad or terrible about my behavior because I do nothing bad.
ReplyDeleteIf the only information someone had on me was from the internet they would most likely think that I am a normal teenager. I have a habit of online shopping, so they would find that I go to a lot of online stores. Also they would find that I go on social networks often.

If the web was the only information someone had about me, I think they would think I am a very fun out going person. I am always on the go and I love being with my friends. If someone was on my Twitter account or my Facebook account they would know that I know that I can monitor what I say and do and I dont party. Someone who would see my my behavior would see that I am a good kid. Most of the time im at school until 5 everyday and after taht i am with friends or with a church group.

ReplyDeleteIf the web was the only information someone had about me, then people wouldnt think I do anything bad, because mostly I play Minecraft and Facebook. Assumtions people would make about my habits and behaviors is they would say I am addicted, which I probly am.
ReplyDeleteif they looked at my information on the websites i think they could generaly assume im agood guy because i have not posted anything bad about someone else or anything with bad langauge. Not on facebook or any site i go on.
ReplyDeleteI think if i was trying to get a job that i would get it because i dont have anything inapproritte online from me

If my info on the web was all people new about me they would know me pretty well. I have a Facebook so that has lots of my info photos ect. To make a better web presence you shouldn't say anything you will regret.

Whoever saw what I did on the internet would see i use alot of facebook and youtube. And i love to listen to music on youtube, and i use alot of ESPN.

I think it is important to think about creating a more formal web presence because as you get older and go for a job interviews they will be looking for information on the web about you. If the web was the only information someone had about me they would think i am a good person. Their assumptions would be i have good netiquette on the web.

I think people would think I am very mature. I am very careful not to put out very much personal information on the internet, so they would not be able to recover much about me. Though, if they happened to, they would think highly about me. though I can be fun and quirky, I am normally very mature when making choices. Especially choices that will impact my future, and impact choices in the future (For example, College). I do not go on the Internet very much, and only if I do, I do it for research.

ReplyDeleteIf someone were to only have the information they could find online and judge me, they would think I am a nice person because I don't post anything bad. The information they would find about me would be my birthday, address, picture, sports, instruments, friends, and family.

If the web was the only information someone had about me, they would probably think that I am an outgoing kind of person and also that I take way to many pictures and have an obsession with photography which I do, also that i love quotes and into my sport, horseback riding.
ReplyDeleteNatalie Dressel
I think that if they saw the social websites i go on that they would know what dsports i do where i go to school and how old i am. Also they would know that i am outgoing and very athletic.

It isn't easy to tell what a person is actually like if they had the internet as the only information about you. On my profile pages for the websites that I use I give out basic information like my name, age, grade, and what my hobbies are. Along with that I will post about what I do and how I do things. Peoople would see that I am an easy going person, I'm a cross country athlete, and I ride horses and thats it.

People can’t get the whole story about someone online, everybody has a story. If people only had the information online about me, they wouldn’t know much. I don’t have a Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Flickr, or anything like that. The only thing that people would know about me online is that I played volleyball at the junior and senior high level. Another thing is I visit online stores a lot, like American Eagle or Vera Bradley. I don't really do much online.

If the internet was the only info about me people would think im a no-lifer. Some assumptions that would be made about me are that im into all music and skateboarding and playstation and parkour based on my youtube and facebook.

If the web was the only information someone had about me , they would probably think that I have no life because I'm on the internet all the time. The assumptions they would make about my habits and behaviors would be that I go on Youtube, Pandora, Spotify, Devaintart, Google, and Facebook all the time. The would think that I am artist (from all the drawings I look up) and a person that is obsessed with music.

If the web was the only information someone had about me, they would find out that I’m a 13, almost 14, year old girl who is a dancer, I play the flute, and I’m in the Marching Band. They would also find out that I’m a freshman at Bedford High School.

I think for the most part people say I am a creative writer or very thoughtful and intelligent. Some people might think I am obsessed with Facebook because I check it like every hour. They might think I am really into the Facebook games because I like to find games to keep me ocuppied so they can see all the different games I play even though I don't play them often, when I do play them there are lots of them. So they could think I am obsessed with video games.

If the web was the only information someone had about me i think they would think that i don't have a life because I’m always on the computer or constantly on my phone. The assumptions that they would make about my habits and behaviors would be that I'm a happy person becuase of my posts and that i'm with my friends alot.

If you are in a chat room and you use all caps you are considered shouting. You wouldn’t use actions like lol, barb, hub in a job interview you would most likely not get that job because it would see UN professional. I have 75 friends on Xbox and i have just friends and i have ten really good friends that i always play with and i trust them and we are friends on Facebook. 95% of the people on my friends list and i know them from school.

I have been bullied in elementary school but not in the high school. Bullying is a serious thing tom deal with. It might be fun to bully others, but its not fun to be bullied. Bullies please stop because you will regret it when you are older.
